This, my friends, is a spaghetti squash.
I cut it in half, added 1/2 cup water to a microwave safe casserole , covered it and cooked it for 10 minutes.
After it was cooked I turned it over and scooped out the seeds.
Next I took a fork and scraped the inside. It is very fibrous and comes off in strings, hence the name 'spaghetti squash'.
Here it is ready to be served to your liking. You can drizzle it with Evoo and season with salt and pepper or top with spaghetti sauce.
